Overview
When the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act was signed into law last year, it included a key amendment to the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) relating to credit reporting information during the COVID-19 pandemic. While the COVID-19 pandemic continues to impact consumers today, many accommodations are coming to an end. To aid in the understanding of post-accommodation data reporting, members of the Consumer Data Industry Association (CDIA) and the Credit Reporting Agency (CRA) have provided specific Metro 2® Format reporting guidance for previously granted COVID-19 accommodations in which the accommodation period has ended.
Join Lisa DeLessio, Partner at Hudson Cook, Pat Dubie, Consultant to the Consumer Data Industry Association, and moderator Francis Creighton, President & CEO at the Consumer Data Industry Association as they discuss the CARES Act and post-accommodation data reporting requirements.
