In May 2023, the Subcommittee on Social Security held a hearing on Social Security Administration’s Role in Combatting Identity Fraud.
The hearing was called by House Committee on Ways and Means Chairman Jason Smith (R-MO) and Social Security Subcommittee Chairman Drew Ferguson (R-GA).
The committee issued its hearing report (Serial No. 118–SS02).
There were five witnesses:
