CDIA and PBSA have joined forces to support Public Access Software Specifications (PASS). PASS leverages technology to improve the quality, accuracy, and efficiency of public records.

In today’s economy, a greater demand for and policy concerning background screening, as well as more precise legal standards, is putting greater demands on public access from the courts. The Professional Background Screening Association (PBSA) and the Consumer Data Industry Association (CDIA) have come together to develop Public Access Software Specifications (PASS) to help courts meet that demand.

The PASS document facilitates court administrators’ ability to implement software that improves the quality, accuracy and efficiency of public records. PBSA and CDIA members normalize thousands of records every year, and PASS brings their unique expertise and perspectives directly to court administrators.
