The comment period for the CFPB’s data broker RFI closed in July. CDIA filed a comment in connection with this RFI. Nearly 4,000 comments were filed, mostly from individuals, rather than organizations. Many comments from individuals may have been generated by an online form started by Fight for the Future at stopdatabrokers.org.
